Erik J. Hayton

Erik J. Hayton builds compliant growth systems for regulated firms and founder-led B2B companies. Born in Silicon Valley and raised on a small farm in North Idaho, he learned early-on that work runs better when the setup is simple and repeatable. He carried that habit into finance and software. Since 2012, he’s helped teams generate multiple nine figures by pairing practical automations with disciplined sales operations.
His method is simple: find the leaks in the funnel, clean up attribution, and put approvals and lifecycle steps on rails, so that leaders can see cause and effect. Because he writes his own code, he moves freely between products, compliance, and revenue, and ships tools teams actually use - from prospecting and enrichment, to routing, and the records that show what really happened.
A stress-induced health scare in 2018 forced a reset. Erik and his wife, Trista (of 15-years), chose a simpler cadence, and have since spent years traveling the world and working remotely. Their daughter was born in Bali, in 2021, and they still split time between Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Bali, and Ko Samui, Thailand.
This lifestyle is a reflection of his work: fewer moving parts, clear ownership, and steady output. People who meet the family often notice the same thing clients do - an easy quiet-confidence, and a way of making complex things feel more calm and manageable.
Leaders call him when growth is messy; with too many tools, unclear sourcing, or compliance risk. They tend to retain him when the picture sharpens: sources line up with results, approvals move faster, meetings per rep rise, complaints and unsubscribes fall, and weekly reviews shift from firefighting - to clear decisions.
