Steve has a deep gratitude for the help he’s received in his journey, which has afforded him a path to courage and freedom. With this emphasis, Steve is focused on partnering with people to chart their own path, with courage, toward their life purpose and the freedom to choose. Having been an adviser to thousands of people, Steve observes that from a place of intention, courage and clarity, people can create a “purpose driven” plan for building wealth, finding independence and leaving a legacy. Steve is licensed as an attorney in California and Florida and inactively in his original home state of Minnesota. Steve is also a licensed insurance agent in 33 states and holds a Series 65 registration.
Jason “JK”, MA & Esq., COO. As the Chief Operations Officer, Jason works behind the scenes, overseeing the day to day operations of the business. He holds a BA, MA and JD. Jason worked as a life insurance agent for years, eventually moving into estate planning law. His years of law practice focused primarily on business formations, elder law, estate planning, probate, wills & trusts. However, he could never silence that inner passion that dreamed to create, to provide value. So, while simultaneously working in law, Jason also created, built and maintained a successful life insurance business, that eventually produced enough income that he could retire from law practice and pursue his own business dreams. Eventually he sold that business and started this new venture with his partner Steve Gibbs. Jason brings his extensive business acumen of entrepreneurship, estate planning and life insurance to the I&E team.
Jason Herring, Pro Client Guide, has been helping clients with asset protection, estate and wealth transfer planning since 2010. Jason communicates with clients from a planning approach, using his knowledge of advanced market concepts and product expertise. He has conducted over 500 client meetings and enjoys helping clients find solutions to their protection needs. Jason holds Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations.
Denise Boisvert, Pro Client Guide, has 15 years of experience in the life industry. She specializes in educating clients on strategic ways to leverage life insurance to provide family protection as well as maximize cash value accumulation to allow for self-funding opportunities and tax-free lifetime income streams. She is dedicated to matching top-rated carriers and products to client’s goals and objectives. As an out-of-the-box thinker, she designs cases that are easily understood and easily executed by the client.
David Gribble, Pro Client Guide, has been a life insurance specialist since 1988 and thoroughly loves what he does. David was awarded his LUTCF (Life Insurance Underwriters Training Council Fellow) designation in 1998. At I&E, Dave is a wealth building strategist specializing in the design and implementation of permanent life insurance policies that maximize cash value and other living benefits, such as liquidity, safety, tax incentives and privacy.
Eric Ratliff, Esq., LLM. Eric is an advisory member and tax expert for insuranceandestates.com. Eric is also the founder and managing attorney for a private law practice located in Sevierville, Knoxville, and Johnson City, Tennessee. In his practice, Eric is an acclaimed legal expert focusing on issues relating to international and domestic tax, estate and business planning. Eric is one of a few practitioners in the Southeastern United States that is both admitted to practice in the United States (Virginia, Tennessee, and South Dakota) as well as the United Kingdom and Wales and is even qualified to represent clients on location in EU member nations. Eric has also recently been a part of reforming South Dakota’s captive insurance legislation and assisting clients with their PPACA administration and funding solutions.
