Abel Salazar, Pro Client Guide, has spent his career on both sides of the financial system — first inside the banking and lending machine, and now helping families break free from it.

Background and Expertise

Abel’s career began in media sales. After attending The University of Texas at Austin, he launched into advertising as an Account Executive with CBS Radio in Austin, Texas. Despite being new to the industry, Abel quickly distinguished himself through discipline and relationship-building, earning recognition as the #1 selling Account Executive at his station.

From there, Abel transitioned into banking with Bank of America, joining the team that opened a De Novo branch in Round Rock, Texas. That team became the only group in Central Texas to exceed Bank of America’s goals for both new account deposits and new business accounts — a testament to Abel’s drive and client-focused approach.

But it was his years as a loan originator from 2001 through 2010 that changed everything. Working through the subprime mortgage crisis gave Abel a front-row seat to what happens when the financial system prioritizes products over people. He saw firsthand how conventional lending practices failed the very families they claimed to serve. That experience planted a seed — a conviction that there had to be a better way to help people build and protect wealth.

That conviction led Abel to the life insurance industry, where he discovered the power of properly designed whole life insurance and the Infinite Banking Concept. After more than a decade of helping individuals, families, and business owners take control of their financial futures, Abel brings a rare combination of real-world financial experience and a deep understanding of how money actually works across multiple industries.

He splits his time between Austin and Corpus Christi along the Texas Coastal Bend. When he’s not helping clients escape the system, you’ll find him enjoying live music, fishing, and boating along the Texas coast.
